Swift House

A small extension project located in the heart of Norwich.

The design was derived from the need for additional living space and natural light. Clad in natural Siberian Larch the gable wall reflects the trees and woodland opposite. The asymmetrical roof form increases internal space whilst reducing overshadowing.

Concept

The proposal makes use of permitted development rights to create a greatly improved ground floor living space. Large aluminium doors, full height windows and roof lights allows natural light to project deep into the footprint of the property.
