Gallery is a proud Victorian detached dwelling, modernised with contemporary extensions and glass structures linking to the garden.
Contemporary extensions inspired by the traditional victorian dwelling extend from the rear of the property, linking internal spaces and connecting with the garden. An internal atrium above the living space creates vertical connectivity between internal floors.
Process
Concept
The proposed extensions were defined by the use requirements of the family and a need to link existing spaces. The proposal creates a more contemporary appearance whilst ensuring that the character of the existing dwelling is retained.
